Al-Aqsa Foundation for the reconstruction of
Islamic sanctities said that Israel is establishing an unprecedented
campaign to Judaize the area around Al-Aqsa mosque and that some
settlement's organizations are accelerating the implementation and
marketing of the second phase of the settlement project that would be
built on Mount of "Alzaitoun" in "Ras al-Amud"
overlooking Al-Aqsa Mosque from the east and south, only hundreds of
meters away from it, under the name of "the olive view
neighborhood" -- Chkhonat Ma'aleh Hzatim –
These organizations are marketing the settlement
through a propaganda campaign focused on Israeli society to encourage
the project to serve the Judaization of Jerusalem and the area
surrounding Al-Aqsa mosque.
They started establishing the infrastructure for
this settlement which will be built in the middle of Arab houses in
the village of Ras al-Amud after the settlement's organizations seized
some Arab land there. The plan is to build sixty apartments very
close and overlooking Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Jewish organizations and companies launched a
campaign for the marketing of the settlement, focusing on these
apartments and how they're located so close to Al-Aqsa Mosque that you
can access it on foot, and how every window is overlooking Al-Aqsa
mosque which was given a Jewish name to help Judaization of Al-Aqsa
Mosque.
The campaign broadcast a documentary film and
photos focusing on the Judaization of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The photos show how the settlement project surrounds Al-Aqsa Mosque
from the South East corner, and how the settlers are keen in building
it. This company has allocated a special web site for marketing the
settlement's project making Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Judaization project on
top of the page.
Al-Aqsa Foundation found out that among the main
supporters of this settlement project the rich Jewish American "Moscovich"
one of the most prominent supporters and donors of hundreds of
millions of dollars for projects for the Judaization of the Old City
of Jerusalem and Palestinian towns surrounding it, such as Silwan and
Ras al-Amud.
